Wayseer

Terms

Terms for these websites.

Short, because there is little to govern: pages you read, a name you may refer to, software with a license of its own, and how that license is sold.

Last changed 4 October 2026

These terms are between you and Wayseer LLC, a Utah limited liability company, which runs these sites and makes Wayseer software. “Wayseer”, “we” and “us” mean Wayseer LLC.

Using the sites

You may read wayseer.net, wayseer.app and wayseer.dev, link to any page on them, and quote from them with attribution. You may not copy a page wholesale and present it as your own, use the sites to attack other systems, or probe them in ways that interfere with other visitors. If you find a security problem, tell us; we would rather hear it from you.

The software

The software we publish is licensed to you under its own terms, not these. Each product's license ships with it and is published on that product's site, which the products page lists. Third-party components inside the software stay under their own licenses, whose notices ship with it.

Downloads from our sites are what we built, signed with keys we hold. Anything presented as Wayseer software from somewhere else is not ours, and we cannot stand behind it.

Buying a license

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, charges whatever sales tax or VAT applies, issues the invoice, handles refunds and answers billing questions, and its buyer terms govern the purchase. Depending on where you are, the seller is Paddle.com Market Limited or its affiliate Paddle.com Inc. What a license lets you do is set by the product's license, which you agree to at checkout, not by the sale.

Prices are on each product's site, in US dollars; the checkout may show them in your currency. Where prices normally include tax, as in the EU and the UK, they include it; elsewhere the checkout adds any tax. A subscription renews automatically each year, at the price then shown, until you cancel it. Between 30 and 60 days before each renewal, we email you its date, its total cost and how to cancel. A business's seats all renew on one date, and seats added during the year are charged for the part of the year left. You may cancel at any time, from the link in your receipt email or by writing to us: renewal stops, and the product's license says what you keep. Within 14 days of any charge, a first purchase or a renewal, you may ask for a full refund, for any reason. A refunded purchase's license is revoked; renewed keys are sent 15 days after the renewal charge, so a refunded renewal's keys are never sent.

The name and marks

Wayseer and the Wayseer mark are ours. You may use the name to refer to us and to our software truthfully, including in reviews, documentation, talks and module names such as a Wayseer module for X. You may not use the name or the mark to suggest that something is made, endorsed or supported by us when it is not, or register names or domains that would be confused with ours.

What we promise

The sites are provided as they are. We try to keep them accurate and we date the pages that matter, but we make no warranty about them, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on them, as far as the law allows. The software's own license says what is promised about the software, which is the document that matters when you run it.

Changes and law

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continued use of the sites after a change means you accept it, but we do not make changes quietly: anything that narrows what you may do is said at the top of this page in plain words.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Utah, where Wayseer LLC is organized, and disputes go to the state and federal courts in Utah, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else, in which case you keep it.
